Tokyo Marui Bio BB's?

I was wondering if anyone ever tried these:
http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/bb-batter...s-1700-rd.html

They are .20g and they are TM's

So my question is.. are they good?, will they kill AEG's just like the Artic Bio bb's avaliable at Walmart?
Are they polished?
What are your opinions?

Thanks in advance!

they wont kill your gun like the walmart bbs. i dont even know why you would buy them in the first place. however, being .20g, i dont really see how much use you will get out of them save for cronoing and plinking.

Make sure biovals will be allowed where you play before you buy em. They have issues.

Apparently the only ones that have the issue of not breaking upon impact (causing glass/other brittle surfaces to crack) are the .27 BBBmax bb's. Although I have personally only tried the .25's, which are great, i cant say what the other ones are like.

Also, if you think you'll "save the planet" by using so-called Bio BBs, you should do a bit of due diligence: you're in for a rude awakening.

Yeah, I haven't thought of Bio bb's in a long time, but since I see them advertised everywhere, I thought they had made improvements. However, if you say some of them shatter on impact, I won't risk it.

Thanks all for your comments!

The original fuss over biodegradable BBs on ASC was that they sometimes shatter, which might be dangerous to the small minority of players who use mesh goggles. Now people are getting on BioVal BBs' case because they don't shatter on impact? There's no end to this.

People can be environmentally conscious however they want. Why bother telling them they're not going to making "enough" of a difference?

The only BB's that i have heard of shattering on impact was the cheap walmart bio bb's. I've had lots of experience with several different biodegradable bb brands (excel, G&G, bioval) and they have all exceeded my expecations. If you think about how many non biodegrable bb's an airsofter shoots over time, that a lot of plastic ending up in the forest. Theres a reason why municipalities have begun banning the sale of non biodegradable grocery bags.

You can view this bit of info from our site about the contents of the Bioval BBB's, and there official acceptance as truly biodegradable bb.

Not sure I follow your "rude awakening" comment. No other bb manufacturer has been so upfront about what they do, how they do it, and how focused they are on being environmentally friendly, and not compromising performance. I can't think of a company that has received as much recognition about the quality and performance of their products either by other organizations and recognized departments.

As a distributor, I would gladly accept any comments or criticism
you have, so we can follow up directly and get a satisfactory answer for you.

The low end bio-BBs do shatter and are generally lower quality than regular BBs. The Biovals have a different stigma to shake, subsequent to an incident where car windows were shattered. Bioval's own statement regarding the incident, and the BBBMax BBs specifically (not their other Bioval products) was that they were indeed designed to break glass, as they were meant for professional training.

So far I haven't seen or heard of any conclusive tests that either demonstrated that BBBMax or other Bioval BBs would break glass, or are safe to use. The independent study published by Bioval is interesting and insightful, but fails to address these specific issues.

Because they sometimes get misled by marketing hype? I'm not going to tell them to use or not use a product any more than I want anyone else forces choices upon me, but I think their choices should be well informed. If you've seen the results of biodegradability of "traditional" Bio BBs you already know they biodegrade about as fast as a Twinky's shelf life expires: I'm all for being pro-environmental, but NOT by dumping money into products that promote themselves as Bio when they pretty much aren't. You'll make way more of a difference just carpooling to games.

Maybe these Bioval BBs are in fact more biodegradable (if the marketing claims hold true). I've yet to see anyone actually test it, so just like the safety issue it's up in the air.

See above comments. The "rude awakening" quip wasn't directed at Bioval BBs in particular, moreso at other so-called Bio BBs (Excel's etc).

I've actually heard a lot of good about their performance (specially the BBBMax), but I'm not willing to risk injury to myself or others in order to achieve it.

If I see conclusive tests done perform by a source I trust, I'd totally get behind them. But that hasn't happened yet.
