Dboys metal body question.
I just got this body "like NIB", and after putting it together I realized there doesnt seem to be anywhere for the ammo release and feed guide for the mag to mount. Am I missing a part, or is there something else I'm missing.
A pic comparing it to the origional:

Those bodies are not meant for a TM gun.
Get a new hopup chamber. |

You need a Hop Up Unit

Would any metal hop chamber work?
Should I look for a specific brand?

I have a G&P hop-up unit in my gun but there kinda cheap. If I was going to buy anther one it would be a Systema hop-up unit.

The hopups that come with stock TM guns are 2 piece types(the BB loading tube and the actual hopup section). Metal bodies contain both sections in one single unit...

Systema and Prometheus hopup units are highly regarded. Classic Army and G&P less so.

It also depends what mags you're using, and if it's a fit. Some matches of mag and hop-up and or the magwell of the body doesn't go too well often.

Dusti, shut the fuck up. You're out of your element.
Those bodies cost $250+ here.

your problem for the orginal thread is that you need a one peice hop up i also recoment a King arms Enhaced unit they offer ammzing air seal but the retaning clip is a bitch to get on!
ok dusti like bob said you offer no information thats relvent here the price's of a d boys metal body here are astronomical, for a sub par body yes they are decent but do need work in order to work,

Who knows? Maybe fantastix was low on his budget on bought the Dboys? It's not easy to get metal bodies in Canada, unlike you. Finally! Someone had to say it. |

This is not the US. And mostly thank god for that. Idiot. fantastix: Depending on what mags you get, you may have to file down the BB retainers on them to feed, if the mags and hopup aren't tight enough. Last edited by Styrak; September 23rd, 2008 at 04:01.. |
