I don't follow, you would need to attach it to a propane tank in order for it to work..

You can always look for one of those faux nade gas chargers.
Might be a little hard to aquire since you cant really bring one in from out of country since they look like a flashbang. However they pop up for sale here and there.

I have been actually looking for the same thing. I don't believe there is smaller tanks of propane available. One think I am going to look at is a Paslode Fuel Cell for a nail gun. They are a mix of butane, propane and some others but I'm not sure if the psi will suffice. But they are real small being about 2" in diameter by about 6".

why don't you just use co2? Theres a reason they're called madbull adjustable co2 chargers, because you can adjust the psi output of the device to whatever you want.

Doesn't work that way. First, it's unsafe to put CO2 in magazines designed for propane, CO2 is several times the PSI of propane. Second, because of the first, you will not be able to get liquid CO2 into the magazine. The seals would most likely fail first, if not the metal itself. And without CO2 liquid form, you'll only have a few shots worth of gas at best. Try filling propane right-side up instead of upside down sometimes and you'll see the problem. Without the liquid to phase change into a greater amount of gas, a magazine's internal volume becomes trivial.

Basically your not even going to use the regulator. We just need something portable to carry around rather than a tank of propane. |

And how, may I ask, do you plan on getting propane inside of it? It doesn't have a reservoir.
