My AK(s) No rails here >:D
Fineally! I'm almost finished my Krinkov project! I need to do a wee bit more work to it so it fires... like an AEG should. Right now it's perfect for CQB. I'd like to thank Ancorp for allowing me to bounce ideas off of him..
Anyway, No one looks at these threads for the gun's life story, Here's some gun porn. Before: After: Any questions? Last edited by Amos; April 20th, 2008 at 01:42.. |

I guess a set of nice wood furniture is better than taciticool hot pink stuff....
Very nice... |

Finally, a non-railed or tacticooled AK. Kudos to you, mate. It reminds me of Ancorp's AK projects. Very gorgeous AK's you've got there.

Good work man! Usually I don't like guns that don't exist in r/s form but I like this one. Get underfolder instead of full stock so it will look close to one of AK's in Rambo 4.

Oooh, I like that quite a bit.
Care to say how much it cost you total? I think I know a long-term project as soon as someone brings more Krakens in, except mine'll be stockless/folding stock.

Really, the only kraken bits left are the front sight and barrel.. everything else is upgraded. I payed about 200 for the gun, 500 in internal upgrades... about 100 in wood, 50 in stains, 50 in gun blue, aluminum black, ect ect, and easily... 40 hours worth of work. I'm still not done, It's got a problem of not having any accuracy what so ever, so I plan on throwing a M4 barrel in there (my inner barrel is 336, and M4 is 363, I can hide it with one of the krinkov conical flash hiders)... and I still have yet to replace the hopup rubber... I put a guarder clear in... but something screwed up and it tore in half while putting the barrel back into the hopup. It's begging for a new rubber and barrel.. hopefully that fixes everything. My next AK project is going to be based off of a MP5K barrel Furniture came from EVERYWHERE. Bits came from Redwolf, some from Ehobby... Then it all got stripped and re-finished by me Sadly, the thumb-hole grip is no longer in production Craft Apple Works has stopped making them, and I bought the very last one. |
