oh ho ho... I so agree with you on that!
I personally think that GBBs trump AEG any day... yeah i know they don't work in the cold, blah blah... I still want one! Anyone know where these can be purchased? |

I would suggest this person, he has access to UNCo, which has them WAs.
Or you could wait for Tanio Koba's GBB rendition of the C8.

i love it, its freeking awesome. if it was a choice between that and a ptw i would prolly go with that. granted you would prolly have lots opf stress like you do with any gbb where as with a ptw not so much. this is just sweet ass. everything youd want in a rifle. only thing id like to see is it converted to run on nitrogen rahter than propane.

It shouldn't have problems with low temperatures, as N2(l) forms at -80oC anyways.

Wait...I haven't thought about the vapour pressure...so I don't know yet...
But N2(g) would definitely be a cheap source...it just takes a bit more of space...so a larger container might be needed...

Paintballers have been using it for years. It's called High Pressure Air. Sure, it may not be pure N2, but for the application it's practically the same thing - it's like arguing Green Gas vs. propane.

the main thing is with n2 it inert and isnt affected by the ambient air humidity and temp. thats the main reason ballers use it so they can shoot a consistent 300fps. every fps over that cost points in a tourny game, and you want your balls flying as fast as you can. but for us, we wouldnt have bleed down or freeze ups.

You wouldn't have problems with regulated HPA in a GBB. The amount of air required to get a paintball moving 300fps is massive compared to the air it would take to fling a bb at 550fps. Most paintball regulators can bring air down sub 200psi and up to about 800psi and hold it there consistently with a paintball gun cycling in the mid 20BPS range.
Why would you believe you would see freeze ups and bleed down from nitrogen(commonly called HPA in the paintball community....)? nitrogen really does not cool off significantly unless MASSIVE quantities are being released. I would think converting the gun would be as simple as installing a 1/8 NPT fitting into one of the mags gas chamber and running an on-tank or inline regulator. It should be reasonably simple. If one of you would like a hand with parts selection on the paintball end, I'm actually a qualified airsmith . |

In the Arnies news section someone already posted that a Chinese manufacturer has already cloned the WA M4 and it will be released in the next couple of months at considerably less cost and a full metal body.
http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forum...owtopic=141513 Personally, i'll be waiting for the clone and some reviews before buying. |

It was a joke on FarEast's part. The pics are of a TK C8 prototype.

I used the search button before posting.
My point is that we really need a review. I want this gun but not so willing to pony up the cash until I know how it performs. Unlike the Systema Revo box which I plan on being one of the first.

This was 7 threads below yours. And Seiga on the PTW forums did an in-depth photo shot of his and some performance testing. Terrible for gaming, but cool for recoil and effect. And good luck getting one in Canada. The internals look so much like the real thing that an AR owner/user will recognize how much. The average CBSA agent who sees a moving bolt like that with hammer, selector and disconnector in the lower would think it's a real weapon. This is so vastly different that an AEG with a mechbox.
