Systema PTW Crane stocks: Pachmayr Pac-Skins?
Is that a Pac-Skin (or similar) installed on those Systema Crane stocks?
And whatever it is, how is it? Worth adding?

I love it. To parahrase someone wiser than me, it's comfy like wiping your ass with silk, except it's your cheek that gets the love.
It could have a tendency to get marred up though, as it's only anout 1/8" thick, if you are rough with the gun. Some guys don't like the silky, sexy feel, and have removed them. I'm old, so it's all about comfort now.

Just remember to take the cigarette out of your mouth!!! You'd hate to melt that bringer-of-cheek-love!!
Order one from Systema. But it'll probably cost you $400 from parts.

thanks for the info. Airborne1, if you're asking about just the Pac-Skin, most gunshops sell it. I remember there was one they sold that was a cut-it-yourself sheet. Never used it myself, but seeing it on the PTW and considering what a big chunk of real estate the Crane stock is for my face, it seems like an interesting idea.

No, it wouldn't.
But then again it'd only cost about $12.

A boring night, a router with a flush cutting bit, and a template could solve that fairly easyly, of course if you have a CNC machine laying around that could also work... but thats like cheating

If I had a CNC machine laying around, there'd never be any boring nights
