RIS Handrail Protector
Ok so i'm having problems with my RIS handguard covers.
The one i got from Classic Army are giving me a REALLY hard time to put them on properly... they freaking scratch the RIS paintjob (the metal part you need to push in to slide the handrail part). Any idea how to fix this problem? Or recommend a couple i can get for a good price (in black). This is what i'm talking about (maybe those are also good but having them ship to Montreal is probably gonna be stupidly expensive). |

are you putting that metal piece on facing the back of the gun or facing forward?
I put mine facing forward because it doesnt take much to keep them on and it doesnt scratch the whole surface of the rail. |

Well thats the problem, i want mine installed closer to the receiver.. but i can't since its gonna scratch the RIS... freaking annoying.
Right now the 3 peices are on the outer perimeter of the RIS with the metal bit facing out. |

only thing i can think of it either laying down tape to prevent scratching or slide them on from the opposite side

I've got the same problem with my M15a4 CQB, though with your SR-25 it just has to be a real pain in the ass...
Either file off a bit of the retainer pins, or simply switch for something else. I'm really starting to hate the CA RIS pannels... |

Nope He accepts EMT and I am pretty sure he accepts Paypal. Contact them directly. I have bought stuff from them and it's by far one of the best gear dealers I have come across.
