Arena Flakjak Goggles

I ordered a pair of these at a steal for 13.99 + 15 shipping, thinking at 27 bucks I can't lose, and I got them today.

http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Flakjak-Pain...QQcmdZViewItem

I gotta say, they seem pretty nice, came with a nice slide-over case (like the desert military goggles) and an extra tinted lens. Manual says they'll resist a .22, so sound pretty good to me, plus they look really solid, and vent great.

Crap or luck out? There's 5 left in the above auction, and the seller has been re-listing them at then end of the auction. (Check his store)

Just ordered 2 pair. Anyone have experience with using them indoors yet? I'm hoping they work as good as they claim (against fogging, as well as stopping BBs).

well since it is only 13.99 and if they declared it properly... you wouldn't get charged with any customs fee
but fees for UPS.... that's another story :P

There's no tax levied by CBSA for shipments valued less than $20

UPS won't charge brokerage fees for shipments declared under $20 either.. it's on their website. All you gotta do is look. http://www.ups.com/content/ca/en/shi...clearance.html

Now if CBSA determines the shipment to be valued at greater than what is declared, say they re-determine it at $100 value, then that's when you're screwed.

Then it comes down to whether or not it's worth your time/effort to appeal, or just take it up the ass so you can have the goggles.
