New To Airsoft: KSC Glock 17 Blow Back

I have just started to get into airsoft after breaking 3 fingers in paintball. It wasn't this particular incident that made me quit I just always wanted to play Airsoft. Anyways I was looking at this KSC Glock 17 as my first weapon.

System : Gas Blow Back
Action : Semi
Capacity : 23 + 1 rds
Gas Type : Green Gas
Length : 202 mm
Weight : 650 g
Hop up : Adjustable

Price : $260 CAD

Link To Where I am going to buy it from: http://www.007airsoft.com/products/htm/gas-ksc.htm

Sorry mate, it's unlikely 007 will have those in stock in the near future. If you get age verified, you might be able to find one in the used gun forum. Do read the FAQ while you're at it.

You are better off with the KSC Glock 19, it feels more realistic (the frame has metal powder mixed in with the plastic, and it actually feels cool to the touch when you hold it), comes stock with a metal recoil spring guide and metal feed ramp (I've heard of a few G17/18s end up breaking the feedramp). Very reliable GBB, and you can use any KSC Glock mags in it (except the G26 sized ones).

Used gun forum here, but you'll have to get age verified.

Just as a caution:
I've had bad experiences with KSC glocks (17 and 34, haven't tried 19). I would check out TM's glock instead

I mean a retailer with a website and guarantees ect. The prices on 007 seem a little ridiculous, I am on a cheep budget. BTW, on the Glock 19 it says HW, what dose this mean?

And guarantees are pretty much non-existant. You'll have more luck buying privately, as most people on the forums are stand-up guys. Plus, there's always the threat of negative feedback if a deal goes south.

You really, really have to read the FAQ as was suggested, and look at the top of each page. See the button called Canadian Retailers?

Very top of the page above "Canada" in "Airsoft Canada". You might want to put a little more information, like DOB, in your profile.

HW means Heavy Weight.

I personally don't think that buying a handgun as your first airsoft weapon is the best idea unless you don't intend on playing on the field. Once you're age verified, you can easily earn enough money to buy a used AEG here on the forum which more often than not comes with a few extra mags and a battery. You would right here and then have pretty much everything you need to start playing....minus goggles and bdu.

The glock is a very nice piece but you won't go pretty far on a milsim with it nor would you on an open skirmish.

As everyone comes to learn at some point, airsoft is not cheap at all.

I obtained all of my airsoft weapons on this very forum and I personally think it's your best choice for good deals, packages and also for collectors. You can find some very rare pieces on there if you're quick enough to snatch 'em.

To start, it is recommended as everyone told you already to read the FAQs but it is also very recommended you fill out your DOB and get Age Verified ASAP. Proving you are an adult should grant you more insightful replies as well as the ability to buy right on this forum. Until that point, it is best for you to simply read the FAQs.
