Best Website?

Okay, so I'm getting age verified (this week) on my own time, mean while my brother with the paypal account is going to order my gun for me as I'm itching to start playing. Anyway, I'm looking for a KJW Glock 23 and I'm just wondering the best website to order it from to get it here in Toronto. The Canadian Retailers websites up top either don't have it listed or say it's out of stock so should I just place the order and wait? Thanks guys.

If you want to start playing, get an AEG. And since you're the one who's age verified, you'll be the one that needs to order it.

Your best choice is to wait till your age verifacation goes through and see what's in the classifieds on the forum. Otherwise you'll have to order from A&A or 007.

Dont get a GBB as your first gun. Not a good way to start.

They have many drawbacks; cost of operation, range, ammo capacity, problems in bad weather, etc.

Save your cash, rent or try a gun from someone the first few times, and only then make up your mind.

This is good advice. Dont rush.

GBB should only be used as a side arm not a primary if you go in to a game rocking a pistol your in for a bad day.

I have to agree actually, listening to you talk about it. The GBB wasn't going to be my primary. My only problem is I honestly don't know when I'll be able to get out to a game. I'm SO bogged down with school and work and all this crap right now that I just wanted a GBB to have something realisted to plink around with in the basement, that's why I wanted to wait and save up for the AEG. Cause I know I'll drop atleast 7 or 8 hundred bucks on the set up I want. Don't get me wrong, money is not the issue, I have a well paying job and I honestly don't spend money that much so I've got enough to buy a small army, I just didn't want to buy an AEG if I wouldn't be able to use it in a game yet. First things first, I just want to get friggen age verified! This is proving to be harder than anyone has told me =P Thanks for the patience and excellent comments, guys and girls.

I bought a pistol for my first airsoft gun, but only because AA surplus didn't have any of what I wanted in stock. Just because you buy one doesn't necessarily mean that's what you are going to game with right off the bat.

As for the question: AA is the only good retailer with anything in stock at the moment.

That's just it! On their products page, they have everything I want, but on their "in stock" page, they have next to nothing in terms of GBB's and AEG's! It's so damn confusing! Should I ignore the "instock page" and just place an order anyway?

Scratch that, i was confusing AA Surplus with 007 Airsoft. Just the same, should I just order from 007 even though the "in stock" page doesn't have what I need?

More than likely if you order something that is not in stock he will order it for you it will just take longer for it to arrive at your door.

Looks like that's about my only option as he's the only canadian retailer listed there who has the KJW Glock 23 listed, damn 6mm imports went out of business and I pretty much refuse to deal with the shotty stores at P-Mall. Bad experiences there =P

If school and time is a premium, why do you need to spend on a handgun now? Just to use it in a basement???

Be patient, save that money even if money is no object; get nicer add-ons for your eventual AEG when you do have the time.

DONT order anything from Pacific Mall, they are the ones who got raided. Just be patient. You have other things more important to do.

Ok guys, about stock:

If you want to wait until a retailer has anything in stock, you're going to be waiting a long time. A&A is the ONLY retailer that stocks things in any volume, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't stock everything on his site all the time. Ken at 007 can order you something, but hey can only bring in a few at a time so you may have to wait 1-2 months for the gun you want.

Also, get age verified. Mark at A&A and I assume Ken won't sell any guns to anyone who isn't age verified.

That was why I was asking if I should just order it anyway and wait for it to come in or do I have to wait for it to show up on the "in stock" page and order it then. I'm in the process of getting age verified but it's proving to be rediculously hard! I emailed Miles almost a week ago and about 3 other people who are listed as people in the Scarborough area who can Age Verify, if I don't have any responses by Wednesday night, I'm just going to call Miles and see if he's open Saturday and if I can pop by for a few minutes just so he can age verify me. It's a long way to go, but I don't care because the best place for me to find what I need is on the classifieds here on the website.

If you want info about what Mark at A&A can get/has/does regarding stock, e-mail him. It might take him a while to respond though, he's a busy guy.

The best way to get verified is probably to go to ASCA. I had similar problems here with contacting a rep so one day we went to ASCA with the objective of getting verified and I came back with a gun lol. It still takes 1-3 weeks to be put through on the forum though, so you'll have to be patient.
