My DMR: G3/SG-1 (full metal madness!)

SAR Taktik Rifle II a.k.a. G3/SG1
Classic Army

CA SAR Taktik Rifle II:
Check out my newest designated marksman rifle. It's a full metal, full auto, G3/SG1! I still have to tune up this weapon to shoot to my standards. In the meantime, lets all drool at it's appearance. Once I get the time to upgrade the rifle, I'll post pics of the internals and I'll make another indepth review! Feel free to post your comments on this gun.

Specifications:
- Classic Army SAR Taktik Rifle II
- King Arms bipod.
- Guarder sling swivel stud.
- Guarder rubber armored, illuminated, mil-dot reticle scope.
- Guarder scope base for G3 rifles.
- Shoots 410 fps.
- Intellect 9.64V 3600mah NiMH battery for AK full stock.
- Deans battery connectors.

Looks hot, but I'm not sure if I really like that bipod though.

I was going to keep the original SG1 bipod but I didn't like the fact that it couldn't retract the legs to a lower profile.

Thanks Mongoose, I really happy with the way the G3/SG1 look. However, I'm still envious of your M700 A.I.C.S. !

This coming up week is my reading week at YorkU. I'm gonna devote a day or two in publishing a review for this gun! With a large battery in the rear and bipod in the front, the rifle is well balanced. Suprisingly, it is not as heavy as it looks.

Are there any other guns you guys would like a review on?

Ya...I'm very fond of my M700 AICS too! But I like the looks of your G3/SG1, it has that essence of power to it. It would make an excellent anti-sniper weapon as well assualt.

Bout the rifle

Very nice looking... i am Sar Taktik Rifle II owner myself and i was wondering if you can fit a rail forgirp onto it instead of that plastic tha'ts about to break, it's just doesn't feel to sturdy for me btw... that rifle of yours - silencer would be nice...

I do have a G3 RAS on it's way but I think I'm going to reserve that piece for another G3.

I want to maintain as much stock parts for this G3 as possible.
