Custom parts ideas
I made the hbar barrels and the threaded para barrels. The hbars turned out great and the paras were iffy, but the good news is that I broke even on each operation.
So, school is a few months away and I will be back in the machine shop. Post any ideas for custom parts. Keep it simple, I am not going to CNC a version2 mechbox out of chromolly steel (althou I might do that someday for myself) I was thinking maybe custom flash hiders or silencers, barrels are still a go as long as they are simple. Just don't ask for anything that is already being made by someone. I can use steel, aluminum or plastic. The more people interested in a certain type of parts the more I can invest in the right tooling. Example, if 4 or more people are interested in flash hiders or silencers I will order the left handed 14 mm tap and so on. Cheers! |

just make -14mm adaptors that thread into a standard thread so we can all make silencers.

I wouldn't mind a slightly longer outer barrel for one of my AK's. Machined out of steel, not aluminum. That'd be nifty.

Also, as I've said every other time this topic has come up - TM Shotgun tri-nozzles. Very rarely available as an aftermarket part., there's a LOT of broken TM shotties around that only need this one part. Might be too complicated for what you want to do, though. I'd also be interested in a reinforced piston and ateel sear set for Maruzen CA870 shotguns.

tri nozzle might be a good idea. It would take some quick CNCing, but once I got it set up and going I could make a dozen in an afternoon. I will go find a manual and take a look at one.
I'll look into the rpk barrel and check the length and shape. The adapters would be quick to do and I could do them by hand fast. Would require a special tap thou. These are some good ideas and are realistic for my skill level (btw my skill level is 17, but I get a boost of +1 from my gaunlets of strength, just so you know) |

Tankdude I bet you could do well with reinforced MP5 cocking levers.
I'm sure they'd be a hot item. -Cheese
