I love it! But the one thing I don't like about it is the thermold mag! They suck airsoft and real steel. But I'm assuming its just for looks for the picture.

><! In one of those pictures, it seems like you have a really bad case of rust on the fire selector switch.

Looks awesome, but yeah lose the thermold mag, standard STANAG M16 mag is gtg.

it was just lighting on the selctor switch. I am not sure why it came out that way.
Yea the thermold is just for pictures. Its a hicap that I rarely use on the field unless i am really stuck or to lazy to reload my other star and mid caps. Its a really cheap one that I had to paint black because it was see through. |

To my knoweldge Canada doesnt use a RIS system all the much, thus in my efforts to make it as close as possible to a real C8 using the gaurder rail system on the bottom made more sense. Also with that rail, I am still cappable of putting on a M203 or whatever else.
The placement of the PEQ on the Tri-ad was another reason to get rid of the RIS. I prefer the look of straight handgaurds over the RIS. With the combination of the Tri-Ad and the bottom rail, I can accomplish just what I need/want. I hope that makes some kinda sense, even if its a bit jumbled. |

Get an eotech, to make a JTF-2 one....no one knows what JTF2 uses, they're budget is like OMGZORS. I'd assume they can afford an RIS system.

I thought about the EOtech, but too damn expensive. For teh same job a aimpoint can do for a quatre of the cost, is okay for me.
However like Bawbag would say "Those EOthechs are super sexy looking" |

The thermold mag isn't right since we don't use those anymore in the CF... We use the regular old STANAG's.

It came with an L mount, but I didnt like the look of it. I belive its on one of the pictures. With the L mount it didn't allow any room for my flip up sight. Quote:

I just dislike the acog in general because it gave me tunnel vision so horribly bad. sure it's got a pretty decent sight picture for a distance, but tunnel vision can get you killed ya know?
understand the eotech dealio, the heck else were they using?!? I can't remember. they had them mounted right on the ris if I remember correctly. Greg |
