Higher end aeg
Looking at picking up a second m4 so I don't have to change mags/pouches and stuck either between krytac full Metal trident spr or a g&p bb-067. Currently running a ics cxp 16 and has gave me no grief but kinda a odd hk416 almost look alike and i got it for awesome sale price as a starter since wasn't sure if I'd even like airsoft. Doesn't scratch my m4 itch and figure I could always use it as a backup or bringing out a buddy. Should also say I don't want to buy a mid-low level just cause its cheaper for a backup would rather stick to quality aegs. That aside what would you guys recomend krytac or g&p? Or even any other similar higher end aeg with full length rail/keymod.

VFC is proven brand and sits inside the same price range. Krytac looks good but quality is up across all brands across the board. So you could go with Krytac and your probably safe. But VFC is a proven and well known performer. It seems to have superseded other traditional high end brands as the 'best' platform for M4s. That being said The reviews of Krytac are favorable.
At that point, which brand makes the rifle you want. Do you want a 416? VFC. Do you want a good looking m4? VFC, G&P and Krytac all seem really good. More depends what fancy submodel, rail system package looks good to you. Do you want a Scar? VFC. G&P over Krytac tho? Krytac, G&P's gears are its weakpoints. That being said, We don't know much about krytac vs G&P or VFC yet.

Yea I'm more than sure this has been brought up a thousand times but I tried finding info on that g&p specific model and we're really no reviews out at all. Tons on krytac. Guess I will shop around and see what the dealers got for vfc before I make any purchases. Thanks guys.

well I cant even find a G&P called that myself.
Might try G&P TMR Ball Aeg they come in both CQB (10inch) and longer 14.5 inch variants and look extremely similar to the kryptac you mentioned. With G&P's m4s they are all the same, a search for G&P m4 review will yield guns that are really the exact same with a different rail system. |

Buddy of mine has the krytac. It's pretty freaking solid.
I've got a real love/hate relationship with G&P. Honestly, if you're not going to replace most of the internals right off the bat, then don't bother. It's not a gun to keep stock, it's an upgrade platform. |

I just picked up a krytac, already own 2 G&P's. I really love the G&P externals but I think krytac has them beat on internals. built in mosfet, very solid gearbox, put together overall very solid.

Unless you're dead set on a receiver with specific trades, its a no brainer.. Krytac>G&P
G&P is really only known for their externals, which are quite nice to look at, if you can deal with the non functioning dust cover and a history of off spec rails. G&P internals are meh at best. Krytac has equally delicious externals IMO and good internals with a mosfet to boot. Last edited by Kozzie; October 11th, 2015 at 08:36.. |

Krytac has no advantages over VFC's 2015 line except for the motor. The 2015 VFC piston is better than the Krytac actually, which is usually the first thing that goes in a gearbox.
Meanwhile, VFC receiver sets are nicer and there's much more variety. There's a reason why all the top tech's in the country run VFCs. Notice nobody runs ICS, G&G and only G&Ps with completely upgraded internals? Want to swap your G&P rail system? Good luck - you need to rethread your receiver back to metric. Want to put a flashhider on your G&P barrel? - Have to get a 14mm Clockwise flashhider. G&P - don't bother as ThunderCactus stated.
