Glad you like yours
@OP The MGC Glock is a really sweet collectors piece. However, it's best suited for just that. The centerpiece of a collection. Now if you want a full trademarked glock, there are options open to you. You could get a KSC Glock 17 with some nice full trades. I have had both, and the plastic on the KSC is about the same colour as the plastic frame on the MGC. But if your looking for the MGC because of the rarer gen 2 frame, then I am afraid you are out of luck there. |

Why are these so sought after anyway? I shot it today, blowback is crisp... No double feeding like I saw on a youtube vid |

Soo I got mine out today for some shooting, and it seems like Its only getting enough gas pressure to cycle properly 2-4 shots. The next few shots dont have enough power to fully cycle the slide back, causing jams. After about 6-8 trigger pulls, the mag is empty.
I know this gun is made for duster, but I'm thinking propane might be better. Unless Im just using the wrong duster gas. I got the falcon dust off, difluoroethane. |

you need TETRAflouroethane

Thats what I originally was looking for, but couldnt find it in stores. A quick search found that triflourothane is no good. Tetra and diflourothane were supposed to be okay. I read somewhere diflourothane is more consistent.
If that is the issue, Ill need to hunt down some tetra |

I'd recommend you completely vent you mags and do a few round of filling/venting your mags (with Tetra or Propane WITH silicon oil), or even better yet, soaking all you gaskets/oring in silicon oil ASAP Edit: Also, difluoroethane is less powerful than Tetrafluoroethane. Not to confuse with TetrafluoroMethane, (r-14) which I think is Freon (there's no chance you find a duster can of the later anyways, but it's good to know that 1 letter can change a lot :P)

I've been using green gas with mine and I get 2 and a half mags before it runs out. Never tried duster gas before and I'm worried propane would damage the gun.

Green gas is just propane with some silicone oil in it, and no rotten egg smell. =P

I wanted to use propane, but worried it would damage the gun. Yours is holding up okay?

I use propane(mixed with silicone oil) with all my gas guns except for the MGC so I wouldn't know how it will hold up to it. I'm guessing it will be okay, but propane just seems to kick a lil harder then green gas :P

Do NOT use propane/green gas with the MGC Glock. I did for years, till the cylinder nut stripped and blew right off from all the pressure. The back of the slide also blew off from the impact over the years. It's NOT meant for that type of pressure.
