Never heard of it. It has double the capacity of a 600mah battery so of course it will last longer.
Just stick to SANYO brand batteries. (The most common & reliable.) |

Thanks BC_K, sanyo is my choice, but if the intellect works good I wouldn't mind somethin that lasts longer. Curious if anyone has used an 'intellect' battery before, hence of course the post :P.

Both battery are the same, or almost. The same is true for any cells composing your battery pack. Stick to the Mah rating and voltage. Sanyo's cells are well rated because they are very common. Im no expert, but I don't buy the crap company feed us.

well typically when you get to higher capacities where you're really pushing the limits you lose out on discharge rates as typically the internal resistance is a lot higher. the 1200Mah cells are pretty new to the market.

Why get the Intellect 1200 mini when you can get the 1400?

The only prob. I had with the Intellect battery was I did not like my up-graded gear box and would not even turn it over, back to the good old Ni-cad Sanyo's.I'm still running the same M-120 spring, but with other batteries(Sanyo). It seems to work fine in my stock grea-box,just not anything with some kick lol,Cheers!

i use nothing BUT intellects and they're amazing. The new ones especially with the very malleable wiring, theres a significantly reduced chance of you damaging the connectors and it fits into stocks much easier.

This is called silicon wire and it is the first thing you should change on a battery, even before the connector.
As for a Ni-Cd pack running better, I could bet that 1-the pack was not properly charged 2-might be a defect in the specific pack Reason is that the current racing winning packs are all Intellect battery (in R/C cars and some planes that do not use Li-Po) |
