Help identifying Hicapa 5.1 aftermarket part
I'm pretty sure someone here can tell me exactly what this part is and where to find it
![]() the...um... thing at the front (I have no idea what its called but it looks bad-ass!) how is it mounted? I assume bolted to the frame? Also, correct me if I'm wrong, it looks like the threaded portion is not attached to the actual barrel...that means suppressor attachment to problem! ![]() (middle) ![]() |

yep its called a "comp" aka "compensator", and yes its bolted to the receiver, and a special barrel with a sleeve, attaches to it...
As to where to find one... I dunno, you'll have to wait for Illusion to reply... :P |

dont think its a comp, compensators redirect gas from the barrel....I found it btw its called Nineball SAS front kit
anyone know if this is a good suppressor mounting solution? |

Sure, why not? Better than a threaded barrel because it doesn't put stress on the barrel.
