Correct me if im wrong, but alot of video game weapon design/art are based off of airsoft rifles. I remember an inside Treyarch vid ( i know, BF is by Dice) and they had a wall full of airsoft rifles.

"Personal retention lanyard" also looks like it could be a RAT strap. (Rapid Assault Tether)

Also known as a drag strap, etc.

Would be cool for the game, adding in tactical drag from contact for injured, rather than the good-ole shock paddles
