Ok, this is a airsoft blow back or real steel question...so drifting a bit off topic.

So if you're right handed (i.e. a normal person) and turning left corners...then bullpups and the like are good to go.

But what about left handed freaks, or if you need to shoot weak side, or pie a right hand corner with a bullpup rifle?

And I don't mean the ones where you can partially disassemble it and switch it to eject on the other side...I mean when it's setup and you want to switch right away....or for rifles that cannot be switched around. I mean...the Brits must have some left handed shooters (dunno if the L85 can be switched around).

In some cases you're just screwed (L85 for example) it's a case of an engineer drawing a pretty picture and forgetting someone might have to actually use it.

yeah but it is really the only one that does that... P90 ejects down

and I'm not sure I like the front eject thing.... consider firing from cover.. and every time you do a bright shiny brass tumbles out the front of the gun... I donno... maybe it's nothing... it just makes me go hmmm

well I guess you could mount something that catches used shells

(I think there are some that are bags instead of big cases)

but it's pretty dumb.

It's usually a bag not a box

Front ejecting (and in a somewhat similar light... down ejecting) is the worst idea possible.

When firing and moving forward, you are literally stepping on your brass... In the sand, no problem, indoors: Massive problem.
