ICS Galil or ICS L85?
I have looked everywhere for a comparison review but I can't see any clear performance difference between the two. I personally prefer the look of the L85 but what I'm trying to learn is if the internals are different between the galil and l85. Does anyone know?

very diffrent the galil is a normal aeg internals where as the trigger mechanism and gearbox in the l85 are proprietary and has a bunch of nifty features

ICS mechbox is at first glance totally different. some parts are v2/v3. Galil has a standard v3 AK mechbox with slightly different selector switch

ICS L85 with description and pictures showing the mechbox and some anecdotal information.
ICS ICAR AR series AEG with description and pictures showing breakdown with minor information anyone else notice the picture of them using the bipod from the ARM to open a bottle of soda/beer? Hope this helps for information. As for the difference, they are fundamentally different, if you wish to purchase an AEG with a relatively large upgrade base I would lean more toward the Galil as others have also indicated. It's standardized (to some extent) v3 type internals will require less fitment to function. Last edited by Rugger_can; April 21st, 2010 at 23:13.. |
