USP sights
do the sights come off on the KSC USP .45, and if so how do you take them off?????? i would like to know because im buying a metal slide from airsoftparts.ca soon and im not sure if it comes with sights???

depending on the slide, you ought to get a front sight with it. The rear sights are attached to the slide via a bolt that holds the blow-back assembly underneath. when you detach the blow-back assembly, the rear sights fall off, as they are what that bolt attachs to.
the front sight will also come out, but it requires some work and patience, and may not be as secure as it was before you began working on it. just gotta tap it out, basically, and then tap it into the new location. again, ideally, the front sight should be included already with the slide.

most metal slides have the front side attached you just need to attach the rear sight and thats held on by the screw the holds the blow back chamber to the slide.

If your getting the KSC USP .45, the front sight come off quite easily, it slides to the side of the grooves. I even need to put some double tapes incase i knocked it off.
The back ones are attached to the blowback unit i think, it been awhile since i took it off. Anyway, the metal slides (well my cheap TW ones) doesnt come with any sights, and i transfered my original sights to the metal slides. Nicho |
