Just wondering, are night vision head gears allowed in airsoft?
They are fully eyes covered like this one shows in the pic.

Yeah I have played games with night vision but you still have to wear the approved eye protection

is the night vision like a binocular which you need to get close to your eyes inorder to focus or its just like a sight : /?

i got a 10x binocular for my gear but with the goggle on i cannot see anything at all unless i remove my goggles and attach it to my face to focus.

just get a pair that has a longer eye relief (usually ones with eye covers, like the ones your using as an example will work) and you can use them over your safety glasses just fine.
just pick a pair of goggles that sit close to your face (like ESS ICE goggles)

Aviation rated ones should be fine with goggles, except they tend to be pretty expensive (like upwards of $10K). I've had a hand in testing various aviation NVG at work (they are the helmet mounted ones, two pairs I tested were the ITT 4949F ones http://www.nightvision.com/military/...9aviation.html) and they allow a longer eye relief than binoculars.

i think he may be looking for something closer to the 1000$ range lol
my setup only cost me about 340$ and it works great for gen1, it's the very best gen1 tube you can get under military grade too.

Ya, I figured as much. Wanna see a hapy airsofter though? My being allowed to use those tubes for nightgames! Lol, trust me, I've asked and only gotten a grin and headshake as an answer!

Still, since the aviation rated types have been used for years, am sure there are old Gen 1 sets (or Gen2 even) out there for around the $1K mark.
