Killflash for G&G Specter DR
Does anyone happen to know of a killflash that will fit G&G's Specter DR?
I seem to remember reading that the scale of the replica is of millimeters different from that of the real thing, so an Elcan killflash may not work, though now can't seem to find that in writing. I certainly wouldn't feel comfortable running this optic without some sort of protection, as it is rather expensive for a replica. Thanks in advance! |

Pretty much all the major airsoft stores sell kill flashes for replica sights, just have a look around and try to find a G&G made one.

Ok, fair enough, thanks for the info
So, G&G uses a standard threading for their sites? One that fits on a C79 Elcan will unassumingly fit on this? |

They actually make a kill flash for the Spectre so I am guessing its different dimensions then the C79. I am not sure though since I am not cool enough to own a Spectre yet lol.

Did some looking around, you might what to steer clear of the replica Spectre killflashes. Everyone seems to be complaining they are to small to thread on. Either take your chances with a real steel killflash or hope G&G makes one for their scopes.

Look at the threading of your Specter carefully. When I was searching for a KF for my real DR, I purchased a replica (it was readily available) hoping it'd work but it's not compatible.
Pics attached so you can see the difference. |

Lol that's quite the difference in size, I'll bet they just modified their AGOG kill flash molds hoping no one would figure it out.

Damn. I might have to do some mix and matching. I might also machine one from scrap...
I have an old mask from Walmart with mesh lenses. I feel I might be able to measure and cut out a perfect circle that will fit, and then lightly weld the edges so it doesn't come unwoven. It'll pop into the threading, looking kinda silly up close, but do the job of protecting the lens, at least until I can hunt down a proper one |
