LCT/SRC/Guarder RPK barrel extension
Hi all,
Anybody know if the LCT/SRC/Guarder RPK barrel extension is actually made of steel or not? That thing look really shiny and seems to be made of plastic. http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/...pk&catid=&cat= Also, if you know it is IN FACT steel, do you know if it could be stripped and blued? well my guarder rpk kit is all steel but it's also over 12 years old.... things might have changed since then

I got a LCT RPK kit a few years ago. 100% steel.

Just did magnet test of my Guarder kit, picked it up in 05 or 06. Bipod and ring which holds cleaning rod appears to be steel. Barrel extension is definitely not, probably aluminum.
