Magazine loosing issue on ICS AK

Recently got a ICS AK74 with 2 unknown brand AK47-style mid-cap magazines. As AK47 style magazine should fit on airsoft AK74 (correct me if I am wrong), these 2 mags do not fit very well. They are loose, and they do not feed well unless the bottom of the magazines being hold upwards.

For comparison I also got a VFC AK74 mid-cap magazine, it fits perfectly, feeds perfectly. I noticed a little difference on the back of the magazines (photo)

VFC AK74 on left, Unknow AK47 on right.
The position of the horizontal thing (labled red) is noticeably lower on the VFC magazine, which hold it in place, and the Unknow brand magazine is not hold in place.

I have no idea if this is a difference between AK47/AK74 style magazines, or it is the difference between the VFC/Unknow brand. Is there anyone else have the same problem?
As I am going to get more (and cheaper) magazines, I was looking at the MAG brand, and noticed the horizontal thing on back is very thin, just like the problematic ones I have, but I can't tell whether it is in the good position. Anyone can compare MAG AK magazines with other AK magazines?

I have searched the forum and found this post about ICS AK magazine problem: http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=142799
but the problem is not the same...

I can probably just buy the MAG brand magazines, if they are loose, just stick another piece of plastic on the bottom of the horizontal thing. But it would be certainly better to get the right thing at first rather than do something "Mickey Mouse".
