I just picked up a KWC PT99. Full metal with nice weight. About 380fps on CO2 With 0.20 bbs. I find 0.28 bbs work very well. Plus it has the full auto option for those times when one bb just wont do. And for under 200 you cant go wrong.

I have been converted from a 1911 guy. I will run this one from now on.

best bang for the buck is still a KSC/KWA as for reliability and ready made/crapload of parts it will have to be TM

for a bombproof reliability consult with Brian (Illusion) it's high priced item but his quality of work and quality of parts that he have is completely top notch

Based off my experience.... and i've had a lot of pistol experience...

I'd recommend a TM gun, and specifically the G17. There's no external hammer assembly so it's less likely to get dirt in there and jam the internals. Front sight and rear sight are screwed into the slide, add a bit of loctite and you'll never lose the sights on the field from holstering/drawing your gun.

As for losing the gun: Get a pistol lanyard so you won't lose the gun. There's even a hole in the grip on the TM G17 for you to use, unlike the Hi-Capa

As for losing the mag: Stick a small piece of velcro on the inside of your grip so the mag doesn't just fall out. You'll have to pull the mag our for a mag change but at least you'll never lose it. There's even a handy little notch on the front of the grip to help you pull the mag out.

When playing outdoors I carry a MK23 Socom springer, with a pistol lanyard and velcro in the grip. Have never lost the gun or the mag ever. And the springer is more reliable than a GBB cause I don't have to worry about gas leaking out of the mag and having a dead gun on me.

Funny, I thought in my last comment I had said the gun's brand isn't WE, but HK, or HK3P; yet people keep referring to it as a WE.

WE and HK3P come out of the same factory, different branding but the same gun. One company gets away with copyright infringement and the other company completely re-brands the gun. So essentially.... HK3P guns are WE guns.

SERPAS! They're $35-50 for clone ones at Airsoft Depot. I've had one for my m9 for like 2 years, still going strong.

Pair it with a G-Code RTI Wheel and the appropriate serpa, and you can swap out pistols in seconds, becuase once you have the pistol you want, you know your gonna end up buying more later on :-)

Exactly, here's a good source of info (well, how good and accurate this info is I'm not sure but seems legit actually): http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showt...p?t=2056654925

recently got a used KWA M9 PTP.

its all metal, heavy as hell (in a good way), is a nice big gun for big hands, and has a powerful blowback action when it fires.

easily gets 26rds per fill, probably more

TM 4.3 stock with plastic slide.

You want accuracy first not FPS.

It'll shoot anywhere any time in any condition. I had frost on the slide because it was so cold out and shot flawlessly on propane.

KSC Sig 226R I love this gun.

Originally I had a Hi-Cappa and loved it. But I wanted something 'real'. So I got the Sig. And let me tell you this thing was in mud, completely covered in mud. It was caked and worked flawlessly. Pro tip do what Ozone has said go for reliability and ease of getting the mags/parts. I have since cleaned and relubed the gun and no problems! Yes TM Hi-Cappa is an excellent option. And many other great options are out there.

My advice is find a guy who owns the gun you want. Try it out fire a few shots etc. Ask the person about the gun the details, maintenance required etc. Pistols are as personal as rifles. I like the ergonomics of my old hi-cappa. I love the ergonomics of my Sig.
