Tightbore, good hop-up rubber and get your compression consistent.

ICS makes fairly decent AEG's out of the box - My brand of choice inparticular.

I say you game it first and decide what you want it to do afterwards.

Get age verified as well - you can find plenty of ICS's in the classifieds for incredibly cheap right now compared to the ICS retailer in Canada - already done up with upgrades and external changes.

not a fan of ICS since theres quite a bit of parts that are not compatible or need slight modifcation,

if you want to do a DMR build you might what active breaking mosfet and those Mosfets and ICS do not go together. Eg. ASCU Gen.1 and Gen.2 or even the AWS Raptor series

pretty much my DMR set up curently runs a ASCU mosfet for active breaking and the 11.1 lipo for a awesome trigger response also running a short dot as an optic will be pretty good too

i only run a red dot as of now but when i get more money ill prob throw on a short dot and whatnot and maybe purchase one here in HK before i head back to Toronto

Just a heads up. The upper receiver threading for a front end doesn't match TM compatibility so your going to have to get your receiver rethread or get something that's 100% compatible with ICS receiver threading.

It's a serious pain I gone through with my first airsoft ICS m4.

Another thing,

If your planning on getting another upper gearbox that shoots 400FPS+ and your ICS is stock, you'll want to use stronger batteries like 9.6v+ or lipo. You may also need to upgrade your gears as my got strip after about 10rd in semi. Guessing that is some of the things your planning on doing with you DMR. I did that but nothing worked and it just turn into a total money pit.
