Word is Eagle aint Eagle anymore, and their designers all left to form a new gig. Might be why you're not seeing the goods...particularly if they took the patents.

Sorry for the Necro again. What happened with Eagle? Is their quality still there, or is this supposed new company a better bet? What is the name of this new company?

Eagle was sold a few years ago to a large defence contractor. Some of their gear was already made in puerto rico and the dominican. More of the gear is probably being made outside the US now to squeeze more profit out of it. ATK now owns both Eagle and Blackhawk (which they purchased in 2010). Its just speculation but depending on how the companies are handled , Eagle and BHI gear could now be coming out of the same factory outside of the US.

So first spear is eagle now? or would it be more accurate to say that all the good from old Eagle industries left and started first spear?
and on another note, how does one size themselves to fit into a CIRAS vest? I don't know if i am a medium or a large since the vest size is based on the armour plates. Last edited by Donster; December 15th, 2011 at 18:52.. |

Unless you're a really big chested (or big bellied) guy the medium is probably more than enough.
