At least .28 usually .3
I'm actually considering the move to .36s now that madbull is marketing them in larger bags. I don't really shoot that much, so I like all of my shots to count. -Grant |

Exactly another reason to use heavy BBs in pistols, it's supposed to be your back up, and if you only have a mag or two on you, you don't want the "light weight BBs go faster" mentality to make your rounds bounce off leaves and grass, or fly off after 60ft. You want to hit accurately and hit hard, because you are low on ammo and have to make every round count. In my Crosman shotgun I'll be using this year, will be loading it with 0.28g, but will have a couple shells loaded with 0.36g for those tough brush moments.

I ran .28s as soon as Jay brought them in, but to be honest, I put .30 in my gun and they never came out.
I am not heavy on the trigger anyway so price wise it makes little difference. I find they increase the accurate range a touch and ouchie factor for the the win. I feel the trade off in FPS is worth it. Just converting one energy to another.

Ya, there was one game Smith wore a hard body armour/flak vest, I shot him in the back with my pistol, he barely felt the hits but the loud impacts startled the crap out of him.

Another +1 to .28s I'd start using them right now if I didn't have so many bags of .25, But that's a change for me throughout this season.

Where'd you see Madbull marketing them in larger bags? I've only seen 2000 count jars.

My M4 is running at about 330-350 FPS right now I believe, would .28's slow down the BB too much at this FPS? I chrono'd my gun last week at a sim, and it read I was shooting at 263~ with .25's, but something was wrong with the chrono because a few shots before that, it was saying 290. What should the minimum FPS be for .28's so it doesn't slow down so much?

Oh and all you morons thinking just because your BB is going slower means it doesnt go as far.. well run into a wall or something.. its mass over velocity people.. You take a light car and roll it down a hill and a heavy vehicle .. what one will end up going farther?

Are Mad Bull BBs any good compared to BBB?

You're going to get allot of biased answers to that. Allot of people have had terrible experiences with madbull bbs (i for one) that have turned them off of them forever, and other treat BBB as religious icon in airsoft.
