Target Shooting Tips/Tutorial
Hello,
I'm looking for information on proper tips for airsoft pistol shooting (stance, grip, breathing, etc.). I've searched around the forums but can't really find anything of value. Does anyone know where I can find some good information on this? The tips don't have to be on target shooting in particular, they could be for airsoft gaming in general. Thanks! |

I can't really think of any TIPS for you, but learn your style that fits you best. Over time you will learn different techniques such as flanking and fire movement, but that obviously isn't something that can be taught over the internet.

There was a thread about this specific topic not too long ago...search ASC for "Rifle Holding"
Also google "shooting stance"..."shooting positions"..."aiming a rifle" |

Personally, I just apply techniques from airrifle shooting to my airsoft shooting. They're essentially the same thing. Give a google on the subject and you'll find plenty of material online on techniques. Other than that, as some people have said, its really just how you're comfortable with. Just experiment.

It's airsoft.
BB's do not fly like bullets. No matter how much people want them too. If it's a pistol. Line up your sights on a target and squeeze the trigger. If it's a rifle. Line up your sights on a target and squeeze the trigger. If it's a shotgun. Point your bead on a target and slap the trigger. You just learned how to shoot airsoft guns. |

This /\ The only exception being playing the role of a sniper. Even then it's more about knowing your rifle and the conditions, No Technique will help you since shot-shot consistency from the person (not the rifle) is not the issue. |

As far as pistol goes though I think most barring the recoil control part applies to pistol. Your grip, your trigger pull and the way you acquire your sight still applies to how well you can shoot....
