I think certain guns should start having an additional gas chamber in the stock, or using the stock as an expansion chamber.

Anyway, I don't want to see any external rigs. I play for realism with gas, and there's nothing real about having a hose come off of your gun and into a tank.

IIRC JAC made full stock armalite varients where the stock could be used as an expansion chamber, or you could fill the stock with gas by plugging the the hole where a connector would be for the intake gas supply so the gun would run just off of the gas in the stock. However the preformance was not the greatest if only using the stock method only(ie: no rig). It's been awhile since I had a JAC in my hands, any other members care to confirm this.

That version lasted about a year in the market although an upgrade mods was made but the performance was still poor.

As for external rig mod...good luck doing tac reload still.. Not only will don't break the mag shell, you will probably rip the connection point for both. Or your.

I'm guessing most of the classic you have are older ones like JAC or MGC correct?
Daytona, Shoei, and Escort really is basically what you should be comparing as they are the newer ones.
got 1 daytona in my classic airsoft collection, working on a second one the rest have been upgraded by justin in some way or other

you could have it in the sling these days, and just have it on your vest (back preferably or a pack with all your or giggles) I guess you never held both in your hands together or you've never went through the headache with gas gun.

Yeah... but that was a decade ago. Airsoft manufacturing has come a long way.

unfortunately company like JAC, Kokusai etc. has gone belly up the only thing you will find remotely close to the old school version of GBBR would be the newer WE (internals are an improved version of escort) & Daytona gun gas, WA (which many other current GBBR are based upon) are a hybrid of the old school system and their own magna innovation, added on the convinience of not having to carry your gas canister in your back but in your mag instead. both system have it's good points and bad points which will be debated till the end of my playing time but since the newer GBBR is still at it's infancy in regards to development and trials I believe that in the next 6 years we will see a much more reliable produck that can rival the AEG or perhaps replaced it.
