You're talking to one right now. and I am NOT going back to gas-in-mag. Those things are so fragile and break so easily...gave me too much headache from the breakage and the dimethyl sulfur.

Maybe in Airsoft IPSC, they have some place but you can't do tactical reload like my ak can.

I wouldn't buy a gas-rig M4, AK or MP5....but I would buy a gas rig M249/Mk43

ok so a handfull of guys would like the benefits of external air, big whoop. thats no incentive for any manufacturer to invest in a costly and bulky system. lets face it, can you imagine seeing the sexy innokatsu girls about to go down on a M4 with a big ass tank strapped to her thigh?
and external air IS like paintball, because in paintball they use an air tank on the OUTSIDE of the gun. durrrrr

Well you have to think of the airsoft community as a whole and Canada is just one small portion of it. I'm sure that companies do research before committing large amounts of their resources into new projects.

I guess you never seen the co2 version of the Inokatsu M60.............makes the AEG ones I have look like TM Boys, I'm willing to put my Sun Project/Daytona gun M16 vs any one of your AEg or GBBR for a shoot out, the tuning capability of an external gas rigs are almost scary and if it is tuned up properly ie. daytona gun gas tuned it's enough to put a smile on my face.

I think this is one stone I should have left unturned, but let's take a look at some of the problems that the gas-in-mag systems have; expensive magazines, cooldown, extreme frailty of said magazines. These are non-issues with air rig setups. And as for the whole tank argument, it's not 199X (Marui Man lol) and you don't need a fucking scuba tank to play. Besides, most people run with a backpack (HAWG size or bigger) or hydration pack, which would fit a tank big enough for 1500 - 2000 bbs worth. On the flipside, 1500 - 2000 bb's worth of gas-in-mags would cost enough for a whole air rig setup.

And I'm not even going near that comment about the air rig = paintball

If only AK GBBr were more readily available, I would enter the GBBr craze.

I believe you when you're saying that external rigs are awesome.

But I still don't want that hose coming out of the gun.

Those VFC's are damn sexy.

Bud considering that you opened up the shitcan of worms you should just chill...Buy one or STFU??? well I got about 8 external rigged guns the reason why they don't get much play now is because most of them are older than you and are awaiting part(s) from Daytona gun and gas mag GBBR I have three going to 4 soon. you made a statement about external air rig for airsoft without first seeing the difference between the two and relied upon what you heard, just in case you didn't know some of the newer GBBR have a external rig mods so they can get consistant air supply with out the cool down effect compared to the in mag gas system.

back to topic......VFC GBBR from my resources in HK have confirmed that internals are similar to WA system but not completely based on WA, they will have a chance to tear it apart when they release this in HK in two weeks.

External air rigs... lol paintballers

Seems the GBBR trend is moving along nicely. Hopefully we can start seeing new/updated designs to improve performance

I used both, and honestly Gas in mag is not the good design.
As for external rig mod...good luck doing tac reload still.. Not only will don't break the mag shell, you will probably rip the connection point for both. Or your.

I'm guessing most of the classic you have are older ones like JAC or MGC correct?
Daytona, Shoei, and Escort really is basically what you should be comparing as they are the newer ones.
