you'll have to try for yourself. Not everything is perfect. sure there are quite a few who have faulty KSC glocks, but that is considering how many have been manufactured and distributed throughout the world. canada is just a small market. On the big scale, these babies serve their jobs well. Hey, how bad can it be right? brand new ones run for around 250, used ones run for 200. Not expensive at all, considering what you're buying. If something needs replacing, worst case scenario is buy a parts gun for around $100. they popup from time to time.
IMO doesn't really matter if you get a new or old gun; aside from the cosmetic damage, they will still function just as good as new. Mind new bnib kwa glock 17 with metal slide and barrel are only running for 190 here at the classifieds.
fixing the gun will be relatively easy as well (except for the complex internal hammer assembly). Theres more than a handful of people who have experience with KSC glocks in your area alone since the gun is so common. Considering i'm a not-mechanically inclined person, i installed the metal slide and barrel for the first time in under 30 mins.
