If the AEG you really want can only store a mini battery, just get 2 of them. Changing batteries on the field only takes a minute.

Aren't AGM MP40's pretty weak though? So it wouldn't use as much battery?

Surprisingly they are quite powerful. They have a fairly high fps and they shoot pretty good for distance. I know that the stock AGM M14 has a higher fps then the stock TM M14. As for battery life, I haven't done a controlled test of both of the systems.
Overall for the money, they are a very good gun.

just remember that more mA = more shots and the higher voltage = higher ROF (or at least that is what i gather)
