Jackals, did you have any problems with the C8 body? I had heard a few people had trouble fitting it to the TM internals.
Any help would be apprecieated, as I'm hoping to do someting similar in the near future.

I have 2 gen 1 gaurder C8 bodies and they are a bit of a tight fit
3 thing I noticed on mine were you need to pry a bit on the back or the upper reciver when sliding the mechbox in. You need to file the inside of the selector switch side of the lower revicer becaue sometimes it's too tight to allow the selector plate free movement. You need to file out the magwell just a bit becasue mags will either be too tight or not go in at all. Non of the work was too serious and you gotta love the results

Trufet named it all right on. I havent filed down my mag well though. I prefer the tight fit.

mine were so tight I couldn't get mags in but my buddies was almsot perfect right off the bat so you never know.

mine is really tight, but i like it tight, cant fall out while i am running like my old TM one did.

Small update here on the project. Did some painting today and here is some more results
Other changes include the addition of my Tactical Yellow Flashlight for all your night blindness purposes :P I am looking into a Crane Stock to hold the battery to get a larger battery capacity. Curious. Why is the reciever in the first picture colt?? i can see the logo.. and if it aint colt, i know for sure its atleast not the maple leaf like in the rest.
