For some reason I think that it bold will fall apart of cause permanent damage to receiver after some time. It might be cool for a display/plinking gun, but now for a field piece.

No one says you have to connect it to your piston. I'll buy one for my AK just to replace the lousy stock TM one.

If you want blowback, buy a gun that acttually *has* blowback. The Sun Project M16A1 I'm selling in the gas guns section is a perfect example.

Wow Agit, that was subtle. ;-)
Oh and Erik, I don't know if I'd want a blowback bolt on my thompson...that whole assembly seems kinda weak.

Remember, the real Thompson submachineguns actually have the bolt moving forward each shot unlike most others where it goes back per shot.

Didn't someone here modify their Sig 552 to blowbacK?
I want to say CDN_Stalker, but I can't quite remember.

Electric blowback systems isn't exactly new. GWS already has many guns that have the electric blowback feature. I think Guarder either copied GWS's system or made a deal with them, since GWS won't sell their electric blowback system... to me atleast.
Actually I think airsoft club came out with a prototype system about a year or two ago, can't remember right now. Not sure if they ever finished that project or not. |

Eh I actually think its kind of pathetic (great start, and definately better than the original bolt) the bolt only goes back a little bit... wouldnt mind having it (or an AK for that matter), but I hope that some day a kit will be made that will have it go all the way back.
Which got me thinking I hope the CA and ICS AKs will have a properly cockable bolt. Cheers, Alex |
