Why not get like one of those smaller G&P side rail mounted light/laser combo? PEQ seems to be a bit unwieldy, adds extra front weight..

Hey guys, I got the VFC PEQ15 box with functional laser and light. What kind of rechargable CR123A batteries would you recommend? I dont want to blow up my box

Will let you know.

Uh, technically, if it's a momentary switch with no other function other than to close and allow current to pass... then it doesn't matter which way around the wiring goes.

Though to make life easier, you might want to solder the longer wire onto the contact that is further away from the break...

Hmm the problem is, both wires are pretty much the same length Im worried that if solder the wrong end, it might fry something.

It's possible (unicorns, for instance), but I doubt it.

EDIT: Also, lets look at it this way, even if I'm wrong and it DOES matter which wire goes where. There's a 50/50 chance you'll put it the right way around.

Glad to hear you fixed it there bro, I'd hate to have to by a new one.

Mach1 does in fact have the VFC AN/PEQ-15 in stock for $118.00 CAD, and I convinced him to put them up on the Mach1 web site (when he gets the time to actually do it).
He has about a dozen of each of the blacks and the tan/DFE.
