well that makes a bag useful
depending on how much shells you can store in it...

Ok...more specific...

...with a bullpup M14 wouldn't you (almost) loose your face on the charging handle? Or at the very least end up with hot piece of brass ejecting right into your left eye?

You're just SOL with that type of rifle...BUT, what if you had it (or an L85), and needed to pie a right corner...I guess that you're just stuck over-exposing your left side? Or is there a better way?

* When are we switching to lasers?!?! If Apple can come out with a new gadet every quarter...surely we can have lasers...

Here's a somewhat biased take on a bullpup. http://www.arrse.co.uk/wiki/SA-80

Not really. My Garand (same action so I'm assuming it's the same) ejected more of a very much upward direction and less so to the right (sometimes but not very often the brass went left).

I want one for each day of the week. What an awesome CQB gun. You wouldn't even have to shoot them, the noise would scare them to death.

Next time at the range...would you try a couple of shots with your face positioned as it is on the bullpup and let us know how it goes?

Thanks

Wasn't the M14's ejection trajectory switched from straight up to an angle to accomodate for scope mounts? Or am I just thinking of the Mini 14?

Apparently the bags are pretty good for causing jams though. Had a friend in the Austrian army, he said as much about the AUGs. I'll have to ask him about left handed firing.

Forgot about the whole bullpup thing. Was thinking of regular Garand and M14. Whoops.

screw lasers.. scalar waves ftw. 4th dimension light (that means in the 3rd dimension it acts as light without wavelength so it doesn't diffuse and it can also pass through matter). This is still theoretical, but tesla said it would work, and when (if) we discover the higgs boson (when/if the lhc ever runs at full power) that should prove their existence. This means free energy (theory says time is like compressed energy, so since it's in 4d, in 3d, it is multiplied by a factor of c^2. Since this energy is pulled from a vacuum, it is virtually limitless and impossible to defend against.
