Another M203question - launcher related
OK so believe it or not, in the coming up on 5 years I've been into airsoft, I've just now aquired an Armalite! Seriously, the very first one ever to my name! After like 20 other guns! It's a CA M15 A4 Carbine retractible. And she is fucking sexy
Now, I would never ugly it up by drowning it in uselss accesories but the one thing I've always adored the look of is the M4 with long M203 combo. Nice and clean. Now, I've never owned or had much experience with the launchers either. So I'm a total noob to that so to speak. Basically, what is the best one? In all my reading it seems like G&P is the way to go. But the CA is actually made for this gun. Buit it's uglier and has no trade marks. The other brands seem too expensive for what they are. So what's a good buy? I also understand you can either get one that mounts to the barrel, or to a rail. Which is better for a smooth look? I'm thinking barrel for now. Any info/experience here?? opcorn: |

Well as for that...what methods do you have available? Do you have rails? [for rail mounted) Do you have a removable lower hand guard? [for barrel mounted]

if you like the smooth look you can go for a madbull ris mounted launcher from buyairsoft.ca,, i think he has some in,, but they arent a copy of any real steal that i know of, if thats important to you.
i have a g&p m16/203 and im not too impressed with the way the barrel mounted launcher hooks up,, ive tightend it several time and it always wiggles. i have both the long and short G&P ris launchers and they are the best imho, avoid the classic army ones,, never had one myself but with the amount of crap ive bought from classic army i cant see why their launcher would be any good, but others may have experience with them and they may kick ass, your gamble.

By smooth I mean uniform, and natural looking. And I especially don't want wiggle and rattles. Hmm |

Congrats! My CA M4 comes soon! And I have the G&P M203 (short). We should introduce our guns, and have a play date.

Indeed, but if you already have a launcher, mine will get pwned easier!!
But that combo in your sig, that's exactly what I'm looking for. Nice and beastly, yet clean looking. Any suggestions, anyone? |

You might want to consider the echo m203. I've heard decent things about it and for the price you can't go too wrong.
I haven't had firsthand experience with it but I've been looking to get an m203 on my ca m15 for a while and as soon as I get the cash it'll probably that one. Mounts are included with the launcher too so that's a bonus. |

i have the g&p short ras m203 and the thing is pretty awesome. i was looking at getting a madbull agx though since my xm204hps are kinda hard to stick into the 203. the agx swivels to the side and makes it alot easier to load it with long 203 rounds.
