KJW M9 FM
It was delivered Friday. From Ken. Oh, and the OD/Black Shemagh came Friday as well.
Mind the pictures, i'm an airsoft whore, not a cameraman. Does anyone know if a regular Hogue rubber recoil grip would fit on this gun, or if you have to buy ne specifically for airsoft? I'm having problems with mine. Also, the magazine release button on this thing is plastic, where can I go to replace it with a metal one? I'm afraid that after a while of use, the constant mag insertion will chip the magazine release button redering it useless.

I have a regular Hogue Beretta grip on my KJW M9 and it fit perfectly without issues.

Did you have any problems with the "Trigger Bar Spring" falling out? I tried to install my grip the second it came out of the box and that's the first problem I ran into. Took me about 45 minutes to figure out where that little evil piece of metal went when it came out.

Yeah, reinstalling that trigger bar spring was a mother fucker. I didn't even know there was a spring that goes there to begin with until I checked the manual. Took me a bit of time to find it on my carpet, lol. Once I finally figured out how it went back together I felt like shooting myself in the foot for being such a dumbass. "When opening something you've never opened before, take caution." lol
I got the knife from Hero Army Surplus for 80 bucks. I got bored of the regular round end blades, so I decided to try this one out. It's a pretty sweet knife. I don't regret buying it.

After thought and careful execution, I decided to put my Hogue grip back on. It works fine now.
P.S. Crunch, that is a fine lookin' piece you got there.

- One useful tell tale sign of the original position of the spring can be seen by the scratches on the metalwork of the gun behind the panel. However even when i put it back so that it all lines up it doesn't work. Maybe i bent the spring? I would love it if you could tell me how its done, though i may be asking too much, i am after all, only half canadian (and I've never even been to Canada :P) |
