Looking for Advice
Hey everybody,
I've only played airsoft in little "back-yard brawls" and I am interested in getting into real airsoft. I was thinking of getting a G36C (I love that gun), i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a decent $250-550 priced gun? thx |

That would be the JG version of the G36C. I have one, it's full on bang for the buck, there are also further reviews here if you search.

If you are in Canada, and want to be legal, it matters. That is what the age-verification is for.
That is why he asked. Back-yard playing tends to be a clue. Same for asking about the cheapest gun possible. A location in your profile also helps; different place/countries have some different laws and rules. |

Erm , no ? He's not being an ass about the age subject, it's the LAW. You cannot, repeat, cannot play in your backyard. And knowing his age is important because you have to be 18 to buy one...if he's not then why would we bother giving him advice on buying one ?

I'm only asking because he just joined and his profile is incomplete, not to mention he stated he wants to get into "real airsoft" implying he is using clearsoft, and it's common knowledge that despite stores require you to be 18+ to buy clearsoft, pretty well every underage kid owns it.
I wasn't trying to be an ass, it's a legitimate question. |

well, see, parents can purchase a gun for one if one is not 18, and i know a place that accepts players as young as 16, so i figured that i could get started early

Thanks for answering, check the "Canadian retailers" tab at the top of the site, check out their stock and check reviews on those guns

Reading the info on this site is a good step and will fill you in on a lot of the intricacies and courtesies of airsoft in Canada. You're almost 18 - be patient for just a little longer rather than thinking about possible runarounds and you'll find that the community will be much more inviting. |

welcome to ASC. for now you can start gathering information on the guns and gear you're gonna buy. find a local rep and get age-verified when you turn 18.
