TM super 90 front grip

Hi

Looking for past experience from you guys. I just bought and received a smokeys front grip that attach to the pump handle.

There is no bolts inside the package that I have received.

Anyone bought that before...? Let me know if it came with bolts ?

I think if i used the same one that holds the pump, that they may be too short and only a few threads will attach and after a while they may strip.

Anyone got ideas willing to share as I research this forum and got nothing

Thanks in advance

D

Would it be possible to dremel into the new front grip a little bit to create a deeper pocket for the currnet bolts to sit in? Or perhaps home depo maybe able to supply you with a bolt of a correct size? Dremeling maybe a last option as Im sure you dont wish to do anything to do drastic to your grip yet.
Those are just some suggestions for you.

Actually the grip as some recess for the bolt but still the thickness of the material is 3/16 inch thick. If I dremel it, it may break while I pull it back

Thanks for the idea though....

Any one has purchased this Smokey grip before ? Was there any bolts with it

I've ordered some and they should be here in a week or so... If mine don't come with longer screws the first thing I'll do is go to Crappy Tire and grab some longer ones. They have bins of loose screws that you can select from... You'll be looking for something metric.

ok, just measured and you're looking for M4 screws probably 10 to 15 mm in length.

Total cost: 40cents + tax

Just check everything and the actual bolts are way too short...they don't even comes out of the smokeys plastic.

Just send an email to WGC...and i ask them to either send me the correct bolts or give me the specs so that I can join you at Canadian Tires...

Let me know when you received them.

PS: by the way, where did you bought the grip (WGC or elsewhere) ?

Thanks

I ordered the front and rear pistol grips from WGC. And the screw size is M4 but I can't say the proper length until I have the grip and shotty in front of me. The two original screws are only about 6 or 7mm long so I'd try at least a 10mm long M4 machine screw... Just try to find it in black so that it looks nicer.

When your kit comes in. let me know if the bolts are in your package.

Thanks for the spec. I will try to get them black but it maybe hard to find them in a general hardware store. Plus I think i will use lock washer

Thanks

Ok, I got the grips and my fore came with the two screws. Too bad for you, but really just an inconvenience. The screws are longer than I thought: 15mm M4. Try CT first, I know my local Home Depot would not have anything that small. Good luck..
