Bash together an AEG?
I'm wondering is it possible to get the parts of an aeg separately and then put it together?

Sure. But you'd need to be 18+ for that, and have a lot of patience.
Why not just get age verified and buy something intact?

If by "get" you mean order from outside of Canada then no you can't.
You'll end up with most of the parts getting stopped at customs. |

I've thought about getting an aeg within canada. i know it's kinda hard to get one or have to wait for a while to actually receiving it, so i thought maybe bashing up an aeg would be faster than getting an intact one. do i have to get age verified in order to buy an aeg?

Yes, you do.

Bashing one together is far more involving (financially, effort, etc) than just buying a complete gun, not to mention that you can't buy all the parts needed unless you're age verified. So you might as well get verified and buy a complete gun.

Man, get age verified and look in the Classifieds section. There are a lot of great deals in there.

Are you over 18? If so, then there should be no problem. Lots of deals in the Classifieds section, so it's worth your while to do so.

Purchases in Vancouver? Over the counter? I have no idea. Purchases from the Canadian Retailers' list is a better way. Going to see the guns in person at a game (and likely getting age-verified at once) is a better way to pick something. |

i agree 100% with greylocks, this is one case where buying parts seperatley will actually be MORE expensive.

AND............ one might run into compatibility issues between a few parts (if chosen without the help of someone in the know), resulting in either damage or poor performance.

The last airsoft retail store in BC does not sell AEG or GBB anymore. Your best bet is get age verified by a representative and if your approved go crazy to shop at the retailers on top of the forum.
