There's one on WGC, I believe. It's an electric auto-winding drum mag.

There's nothing inside the box mag, you have to supply a hicap on your own to make it work.

If this is the box mag in question, then it is pretty much an empty shell, other than the hicap mag. I was under the assumption you had to supply the hicap (I believe you had to originally), but it seems it's included. But still it's essentially a giant hicap.
Descritpion: First Factory G36C Box Magazine (5000rd) for G36C (Include hi-cap G36 magazine) High capacity drums magazine for G36 series. Load up to 5000 rds of BB's. Manually wound and includes built-in hi-cap magazine mechanism. Fits TM G36C. Be nice if it were electrically wound, especially if it would wind when the trigger was pulled, but as is, it's a lot of winding. Edit: found a pic of the inside of a hicap:

Huh, that's strange, I was under the same assumption that one'd have to provide the hicap as well.
Not quite sure how the box mag would work if it's gravity fed, since the loading port for the hicap looks to be above where the BB reservoir would be. Need some better pictures of it, especially of the top.

The big square on the top left of the mag picture is the loading port if I recall (You don't need to use the hicap port). Open & Dump. Ehobbies was selling one a while ago and had a bunch more info than WGC & Redwolf.

Found a picture of a similar mag, no idea how the BBs would get from the box mag into the hicap....

It's pretty simple... Only the internals of the hicap are used, you take the shell off. BBs fill up only the top half or so of the box mag, the rest is wasted space.
