Which one is better to buy?

Of course KWA should be better, but you will have problems to find parts for discontinued gun, and there are problems to find mags already. In 3 years you will dump it coze cannot find some simple replacement spring or something similar.

KWA usually support it's products, even when discontinued. You can email them directly for parts availability, even if the parts are not listed. That may change, but right now they're still supported.

I don't know about the WE, if it has aftermarket support or not.

KWA is the way to go. The price difference isn't large enough to justify the switch to WE, and you will find that just browsing the classifieds there are a plethora of mp7's, parts, and magazines on sale.

Here's a reference review video from Khan-Seb of the WE smg8 that completely deterred me from any interest.

I'll throw another option out there for you: the Tokyo Marui NP7A1. I got to try one and I have to say it's really nice. Construction is everything you'd expect from a TM, and the kick is quite impressive. Extremely accurate, too.

Downside is it wont be as easy to find in Canada and it's the most expensive option (listed at USD$330 in HK).

Here's the Hail Mary option. The upcoming VFC MP7, said to be the only 1;1 copy on the planet (the others are kind of like a "boys" version).

The big question mark though is that will it be as bad as the MP5.

KWA's mp7 is not discontinued; they just can't distribute it through their own channels or advertise it as KWA brand

In short:
Umarex Mp7 === KWA mp7

I have a KWA, I have to say I really love it

Me and my team mate Monkey King, both have the TM MP7 GBB....

Super reliable, strong kick, very accurate and even outdoor-skirmishable...

Highly recommended, despite the higher price tag

I would go for the kwa because of my experience with the mac 11 and mp9.

There have been tons of KWA mp7's in the classifieds. Some are bargain packages that go mighty quick though!
