ICS m4 rails
hello children!
alright so im thinking of eventualy putting some rails on my M4....issue is, its an ICS, and it takes proprietary grips. Im looking for a military style rail (round vents), so the one on mach 1 airsoft doesnt fit the look im going for. http://www.mach1airsoft.com/node/382 is there any way to mod standard grips to fit the ICS? |

im using a Madbull MK18 9.5 Daniel Defense SOPMOD II RIS II Handguard:
http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/madbull-m...ard-black.html Fit my ICS m4 no problem out of the box. No rethreading needed. Before I had the exact ICS MA-73 RAS installed. However be alert that not all ICS m4 are threaded like this. A topic of metric vs imperial threaded receivers. ICS has produced both. I'll let someone with more knowledge talk about it further. |

I've used WE and other brands of delta ring on 3 different ICS M4's (G&P RIS, King Arms RAS2, stock ICS foregrip [just sick of the POS delta ring in the last case]), they are a PITA to get on, thread spacing and pitch is the same but the height of the threads on the receiver meant that I had to tighten/loosen over and over till I could get it all the way on. you can swap out the delta cap for a proper sized one (afaik has now moved to a standard size delta cap)
you will have to file down the tabs on the outer barrel about 1/8th. Last edited by LongStone; June 26th, 2013 at 20:47.. |
