RAIL ADAPTABILITY for g&p receivers

so i am torn between 2 rail systems that i really like and im constantly worrying about the anal fit of the g&p upper receiver for free float ras/ris units, so i came down with 2.

the DYTAC INVADER 11 INCH FREE FLOAT RIS, or the MADBULL SPIKE BAR ris.


will any of these two fit? if not do you guys know any rail system that will fit the g&p between the 90$-130$ range?

The threads on the g&p receivers are different than marui spec m4's so without modification, no those rails won't fit.

Madbull specifically makes barrel nuts for the g&p threads that are for the Daniel defense and pws series of rails. As some have noticed those barrel nuts seem to be out of stock almost everywhere so some searching might be in order.

Alternatively you can modify the threads meet marui spec. If you go this route I suggest having someone that has done it before do it because a screw up can and probably will cost you an entire receiver. There are a lot of threads here and elsewhere about the fit and modification of rails for g&p guns.

If you can get a hold of a g&p rail that will work too.

I believe G&Ps use their own threading. If you want to use a other brands of rails, you'll need to modify the threads with madbull's threading tool.
