That's just the website. Every JG comes in hot and sometimes not. China.. Hello?
But on ASC, we can trust the reviews of it on here.

Hey ccssneo, the guy probably told you it's a TM copy version maybe?

Do the pics determine anything?

look on top of the receiver, just in front of the rear sight. If its TM, it should have some kind of trademark indicating HK. If it's JG... well who knows what kind of crap they put on there

As I said, JG don't have ANY markings except the Made in China under the motor plate. I don't think it's a JG either, as they don't generally put serial numbers on their guns.

Well i will be able to test out the gun tomorrow when i get my battery and clip around 6:30. Turns out (Josh) Got it form his friend in calgary. His friend played with it alot and one day broke it. Josh said that the case was broken so his friend bought a replacement one. I still think josh is telling a lie

Dude. Do you read the fucking replies? It's not a TM. That's a 100% certainty. There's no room for interpretation here. And it's probably not a JG either because of the serial number on it. End of story. Your continually asking the same questions over and over despite being given the correct answer (obviously not the one you wanted to hear) is not going to change that fact.

Bottom like: it seems to be a good MP5 and you got a good deal for $200. Leave it at that and move on.

And for your info, the receiver is the main body of the gun. They're generally divided into 2 parts - the upper, and lower receiver. The lower receiver is the grip and main body the selector switch is attached to. The upper receiver is everything else that isn't the barrel and stock.

The foregrip is part of the upper reciever?

After seeing the pictures the upper reciever looks very much like my ICS. It clearly isn't an ICS, I suppose that's because it's metal aswell.

No, the foregrip isn't part of the receiver. I meant the main body of the gun. Cocking tube, barrel and foregrip are obviously not part of the receiver.

Anyway, here's a bit more info. If it was a TM, it would have "Kal 9x19mm" on the mag well on the left side of the lower receiver, the Heckler & Koch logo with a serial number on the very top of the upper receiver just in front of the rear sight, and "Tokyo Marui - Made in Japan" on the right side of the magazine well, and "ASGK" (AirSoft Gun Kai - Japanese airsoft regulatory body) inscribed on the right side of the lower receiver. Other than its own trademarks added, TM guns have all the trademarks of the real guns they're replicating. If it doesn't have all of those markings, it's not a TM.

And as I said, JG typically don't come with serial numbers, so I doubt it's a JG. Now, there IS the possibility it's an Echo 1. I haven't seen one personally, and I can't find good enough pics on google of the side of the receiver to see if they have serial numbers or not. If somehow it happens to be an Echo 1, then you're in luck. They're an American company. They buy JG guns, tune the mechboxes (reshim and relube them), do a strict quality check, and resell them under the Echo 1 brand name. They're a good buy.

Ok i got news: Congratz The gun is a JG! I messaged a guy in warrior airsoft that owns the gun and knows it well. He said its mp5-sd5 jg. ALso to make sure i looked at the pics. EXACT SAME. The paint job has the same rough lines under the iron sight and has flower imprints which no other gun has.
