Well get a protector for it, I shot one out with a single shot 2 weeks ago.
It's pretty annoying for the guy that was sitting behind it. Still for bad for him.

Co-witnessed aimpoint, LMT cut-down rear, with an A-frame front.

I'm going to be switching to Troy flips F/R, and a EOTech 550. Hopefully I wont change my mind by christmas!

Iron Sights all the way

For CQB... I prefer Iron sights... really I don't use any sights for CQB.. Engagments within 5 m ... its all natural point of aim and reflexive shooting.

I can see the utility of red dot reflex sights.. and have used them... but not enough to really get better than the iron sights.

I don't like scopes.. because I tend to get "tunnel vision"

I am really seriously considering a holographic sight... I have reviewed enough Eotech set ups.. to see that they are likely the best option for airsoft application..

no magnification... ( whats the point at the ranges we fight at) paralax free.. and fast optical registration.... Effective at very close and at the effective range of airsoft guns...

Iron sights have one major advantage; they wont fail you unless you break them off.

I like the Holo sights. They work well and also look sweet on my M15.

general rule IMO, is that if you are going to use a scope, use a low magnification. the ACOG, being 4x (i beleive) would be the very max you should use, because as it was mentioned previously, scopes are better than airsoft guns. When i get a sniper (Tanaka Mauser 98k) the scope that is used for it is only 1.5x, which is perfect for Airsoft, both in terms of practicality and ease on my wallet.

A whide angle red-dot is best for most engagement IMO. You get to keep both eyes open to shoot and it work as long as you see the dot, no eye relief. That mean you can shoot with your head not perfecly aligned with the optic and still be acurate.

I use a Aimpoint replica on my P90 and I love it.

Ironsights are good too, but when it's dark, you loose them. It's also slower to aim with them.

I just started using a aiming point sight. I haven't gamed with it yet but it's more of a looks thing. Other than that I usually use my iron sights. I'm kinda indifferent at the moment they both have ups and downs.
