I've tried the handing strip curtain thing, and it worked well at times, but idealy the best thing you could do there is to overlap the edges of the strips, as some BBs will pass between the strips, slow down little, and take it out on the mesh at the back.

Good point, maybe even 3 or 4 slightly offset sheets of "strip-cut" fabric, to ensure the BB's hit at least 1 or 2 of them.

Hi

I built this with the 1/2 inch PVC and i used a canvas painters drop cloth as the backing. Its has not been penetrated as of yet. I ended up using those office bull clips to hold the fabric in place so it can be easily taken apart if needed.

I also use the bull clips for holding up targets.

Canvas will give way after a while, depending on the velocity of your guns. I've been using an old yet somewhat thick leather jacket the past year and it's got gaping holes in it now. At least BBs still tend to hit parts of it, get slowed down then caught in the mesh laundry bag.
